Thunderstruck is from the USA however he has imported lines in his family tree. His beauty shows through and through. He is 50% Brazilian
Where is Koa from?
Koa is from the USA. He is 65% European and 35% American. Koa is genetically Black and White with intense red pigmentation covering the black part of his fur. He appears chocolate color. Koa will be our Stud who can produce black and white as well as blue puppies.
What is an American Basset?
Size 11-15 inches tall; 40-80 pounds.
Appearance They will have a long body with short legs. They have long ears and droopy eyes.
Ancestry The American Basset was Brought to the USA in the 1800's 1They were also recognized by the AKC around this time.
Behavior The bassets are good with children, good with other animals and good with their owners. They however are stubborn and will often act as if they can't hear you with those huge ears. Bribing your basset with a tasty treat works well!!!
