How do I know if my Basset hound is a true lemon Basset hound.
A basset hound that is born pure white at birth without any other colors is a true Lemon Basset. This is rare. If you see color on your puppy beyond pure white at birth this isn't a lemon. Usually, the puppy will not develop any color until 2-3 weeks of age.
Can I change my puppy to a different food other then what the breeder was feeding him?
Yes, however you need to slowly introduce you puppy to the new food. Take your time adding food mixed with the original food. If you immediately change food without mixing your puppy will get a tummy ache and likely diarrhea.
